Utilizing Waterfall charts is a great way to visualize your personal budget and see how your income and expenses interact.
the goal is to consistantly being move up and to the right of the chart as time goes on, it can be like a game.
This only requires some basic R data skills and the wonderful R package:

You can easily import .CSV files if you keep budget on another mobile phone app, google sheet, excel file, anything!
You can construct your waterfall chart in a variety of ways, here I only show 2 wyas, both are transactions over time.
You could give each transaction a better name that how it’s record.
